"Every Christmas for the past 6 years we camp at Anglers lodge which is right beside the Amodeo bay boat ramp about 20 mins past Coromandel town.Our boat is an old 4.6 mtr cambell craft named "Hook" ,not the flashest boat at camp but we manage to hold our own with the fishing.For the last 2 yrs we have been fishing softbaits only and rarely come home empty handed...The tally for this fishing trip was 1x 10lbr,1x 9 lbr and 12 more averaging 40-50 cm.smiles all round."
